He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Tony and Rose Amabeli; his maternal grandparents, Joe and Mary Geffert and three uncles, Joe Geffert, Jr., David Geffert and Bob Stull. Joe was an avid sports fan specifically anything Ohio State its football program and band. He enjoyed spending as much time with his friends and family especially being in the pool with his kids and being outside working in the yard.
